Refund Policy
Draft for review — not yet in force. Effective [[EFFECTIVE DATE]].
All sales are final
GetU Prep sells digital study packs, and you get the full pack the moment your payment is confirmed: every exam simulation, the study guide, and a downloadable PDF. Because of that, we don't offer refunds for change of mind, for not using the pack, or for the result of an exam. Before you pay, you'll tick a box on our site asking for immediate access and confirming that you understand this. Where the law gives you a cooling-off period for digital content (for example in the EU and UK), asking for immediate access means that period doesn't apply.
Try before you buy: the free 20-question demo shows you the question style and the site, so you can decide before you pay.
When we will refund
We'll still refund you in these cases:
- We can't deliver: if a fault on our side stops you using the pack you paid for, and we can't fix it within 7 days of you telling us, we refund the purchase.
- A duplicate payment by mistake: a second purchase normally adds another 365 days. If you didn't mean to buy twice, tell us within 14 days and before the second period starts, and we'll refund the extra payment instead.
- Where the law requires it: some consumer laws give rights that a no-refunds policy can't remove, for example the Australian Consumer Law's guarantees. Nothing here limits those rights.
To ask, email support@getuprep.com from your account email with the date of the purchase. Refunds go back to the original payment method. A refund ends the access that the purchase paid for.
The pass promise
If you do the work and still fail the real exam, we'll add another 365 days of access to that pack, free. To qualify:
- score 90% or more on at least two exam simulations (the full, timed exams that mirror the real certification) before your exam date;
- sit the real exam while your access is active; and
- email support@getuprep.com from your account email with your score report within 30 days of the exam.
We check your simulation results, then extend your access. The promise applies once per purchase. It extends your access; it isn't a refund.
Who processes your payment
Purchases are sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service, which acts as the reseller (merchant of record) for the sale and collects any sales tax, VAT or GST. Your receipt and invoice come from Link, and your card statement shows the charge as LINK.COM, followed by our name. Link's own terms apply to the payment. In some cases Link may refund a payment itself, for example to meet a consumer-protection rule; a refund always ends the access it paid for.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a payment with your bank, please contact us first; most problems are quicker to fix directly. Stripe handles chargebacks for these sales. If a chargeback is decided against the sale, the access that the payment bought ends.
